In order to optimize muscle hypertrophy, is has been postulated that multiple increases in muscle protein synthesis throughout the day are better than say one or two. How can we increase the frequency of the elevations in protein synthesis? Eating a normal meal consisting of 20-30g+ of high quality protein may increase protein synthesis, but other research has found a large serving of EEAs/BCAAs with carbohydrates between meals can also have this effect. This is where distrib
ution of total daily macronutrients may be important. A study done by Ohkawara et al., (2013) found that there was no difference in daily energy expenditure, fat oxidation, or macronutrient usage between 3 meals or 6 meals. Therefore it is likely that somewhere between 3 and 6 evenly spread meals per day is adequate.



It is worth noting that at about 3 hours post meal, protein synthesis drops. We believe it is because the muscle cell lowers energy content, as building new proteins is very energy demanding. My brother Dr. Gabe Wilson's research in rates may suggest we want to consume BCAAs, or BCAAs and Carbs, between meals is our main goal is muscle mass. This method may provide our cells with energy to continue the muscle building process. In summary, consuming 3-4 meals per day with BCAAs between meals may be a valid method to increase muscle hypertrophy and body compositon, however we still lack long term data to support this (Lowery et al., 2014).

Kake izkušnje kako se to obnese v praksi; torej masa s 3 obroki dnevno vmes pa BCAA?

Jaz sem delal nekaj časa tako, je kar OK samo moraš konstantno nosit BCAA s sabo pa OH jaz ne bi imel tekočih.

a bi drzalo to tudi na lchf.tezko pojem več kot 3 obroke odkar se prehranjujem LCHF.Bi pa rada še nekaj mase/mišic pridobila.
Koliko pa naj bi bilo bcaa med obroki?

moje mnenje je da lahko ješ v roku 8 ur in dobivaš na masi..

Kaj pa BCAA med obroki na definiciji? Glede na to, da več mišic pomeni več skurjenih maščob bi bilo dobro?

Na dieti se najbolj pozna ja - glikoneogeneza je višja in vse, kar drži anabolizem čimvišje je zelo dobrodošlo. Še psoebej če dodaš HMB ali HICA zraven

Hidroxy Iso Caproaic Acid
To je drugi metabolit Leucina ( poleg HMB ) ki ima vpliv na neto balanco dušika preko ostranjevanja odpadnih produktov razgradnje beljakovin ( ko treniramo oz. dieta ) kar omogoča, da se zaloge Leucina v mišici hitreje obnavljajo = večja rast mišic Slika
